The Programme
The first day – reports panel in the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz
The second and third day – excursion to the Vistula valley in the section between Bydgoszcz and Plock, report panel for the participants (10 minute presentations)
Subject matter of the Worshop
The present field methods in the study of fluvial processes, including:
- study of processes in barrage reservoirs
- analysis of the river valley floors changes below the thresholds
and dams
- the reservoir and river bank changes
- study of the sediment transport dynamics in the river valleys
Deadlines
By February 15th 2011 – declaration of the participation in the Workshop
By March 15th 2011 – please pay the conference fee 400 PLN (about 100 EURO) (the conference fee includes: participation, accommodation, trip), the account number will be sent later
